Good place to see what bills are passing through house and senate. It breaks down both sides of the argument. Can also click YEA or NAY to vote on the bill yourself…

I just love a good chart or two… here’s a nice comparison of Rump’s approval ratings versus approval ratings of presidents past.
“Of course, nothing about Donald Trump or his campaign for president has fit into the template of the average President.”

An Interview with Tim Ferriss on NPR today. Two take-aways: 1. If you saturate yourself with negavity, it normalizes- averages in your world view. 2 When faced with the chaos phase of change, it is often better to pull back and see what shakes out before “reacting.” Here’s the interview. It’s worth a listen.

This is a good visual on what is happening today and the role Ban is playing. He is clearly very influential today, and has been throughout the campaign. And now we hear that POTUS didn’t even understand the order he signed to put Ban on the National Security Commission, furthering our suspicions that Ban is running the show. To learn more about him, Wiki would probably be a good place to start. He is not a nice man. His not-niceness goes far beyond pussy grabbing.

You don’t want me on this page. I have already moved beyond blaming the POTUS. I think he is a phenomenon which by his unique combination of business dealings, skill as an entertainer, and personality disorder is the perfect smokescreen for a chaotically emerging movement. I believe he was identified, groomed, funded, and then placed on a well crafted stage as the perfect lure and diversion.
I think many of those millionaires and billionaires he brought up to his campaign podium, whom he claimed had given him millions and asked nothing in return, are now enjoying the coup of a lifetime, finding themselves in the middle of a free-for-all in which they hope and plan to co-opt the broken government. It’s not a dark conspiracy, it’s a crime of opportunity, sort of like a street riot, which at a late stage in the game has attracted some very dark players.
And as for his supporters among the citizenry, are they worse than us? Listen to us! We sound exactly like those supporters, just a different side of the fence. We are rude, crude, inarticulate, uneducated about what really goes into running our nation (though we are getting schooled fast!). We have lived through one of the most trouble-free eras in the history of America, which abruptly came to an end when our banks ran amok and bankrupted our economy. It wasn’t 911 that broke us, it was our own robber barons.
So this game which began as somewhat of a fluke, has matured, taken on some unusual players, and is creating a mess the likes of which I SINCERELY doubt even its players could have imagined. Our POTUS’s narcissistic personality disorder puts him at the mercy of anyone who will aggrandize him in any way, so he is the perfect tool.
The leaks we have read about so much about betray an every-man-for-himself dogfight in the White House. POTUS is being isolated and monopolized, happily so, I imagine. The dogfight is being hidden (unsuccessfully) from the press. I have no doubt that the ones who get his ear are those who help him see himself as a savior, a man of his word, a tough talker, a tough dealer, and they are insulating him from the reality that is unfolding as our legal system marshals itself to correct his overreaches of power. Where else but from ignorance would the term “so-called judge” possibly come from? The exists no such thing as a so-called judge any more than exists a so-called president.
So here’s what I think- then you can invite me to leave. We need to get completely off of the hate/disgust messages, the sarcasm, the name calling (even though I LOVE to do it, it’s SO cathartic). We need to get off the idea that getting rid of our new POTUS is going to change one thing about the situation that got him here. Nor will our ranting slow the new game which is being created as we speak. It is “making its path by walking.” In fact, our ranting will keep us occupied while the game develops.
I think we need to rename ourselves “THE PEARL” By refusing to be duped into thinking that our POTUS is the cause of the problem, we can learn to see him as an exploitable person, and his presidency as an exploitable moment in history. Bigdog players in the White House are exploiting him to unfold their agendae against a broken government. They are scrapping tooth and nail with each other, and learning as POTUS is, the limits of power that exist in the Executive branch.
I want to exploit him as if he were the irritating piece of sand that forces its host to grow something new and very strong in order to keep the sand from killing its host. We can’t blame the sand. It got there by forces we don’t understand and can’t control. And the sand itself, though dangerous, is sand.
I want to grow a pearl. I want to use this experience now that I can breathe again, and my blood pressure is back to normal. I need to learn more about my government, but most importantly I need to learn how I can act effectively for the restoration of order. THEN, when I have learned those channels, I want to stop taking my government for granted, and take a more active role so that this doesn’t happen again.
I’ve opted out of ranting posts (reading them and doing them), I am buying a lot of forever postage stamps, cautiously, though, because it won’t be long before the mail will reach an unmanageable volume, and the game-players decrease the necessary staff to deal with it. I am sending lots and lots of emails, responding to my more knowledgable FB friends’ ACTIONABLE posts. I am learning where to send the emails, what the agencies are, etc. I sent a heartfelt thank you to the customs people for enduring what has to have been the most stressful 24 hours they have had since 911.
AND, I occasionally leave my house to drive around the block while on the phone with my SEESTA, raving expletives and well-crafted coprolalia, because I get mad and it feels good. Okay, then.
