We shall refer to the president as Banrump.
Here is my first thought of the day, taken from this synopsis of an article in the Chicago Tribune regarding action by the new FCC chair:
New FCC chair blocked 9 companies from providing affordable Internet to the poor. The program, known as Lifeline, provides registered households with a $9.25-a-month credit, which can then be used to buy home Internet service. As many as 13 million Americans may be eligible for Lifeline that do not have broadband service at home, the FCC has found. (Chicago Tribune)
Actually this is frighteningly like the Hunger Games. If we take steps to cut off affordable internet access to the poorer members of our country, we cut off access to information. It is secret little actions like this that make me feel convinced that Ban of Banrump is methodically putting together a dangerous strategy to disenfranchise our poor and disadvantaged. Am I being paranoid? I will write a letter to my State Representative on this.
